Special Crane Stockholm: BRUNNHUBER delivers special overhead crane for Citylink Project

As part of the “City Link” project, new power tunnels are currently being constructed at depths of up to 100 m. This initiative aims to improve the electricity supply in the greater Stockholm area, which is facing a steadily increasing energy demand due to population growth.

For the construction and excavation of a 100 m-deep access shaft, BRUNNHUBER CRANES supplied a special overhead crane, which is additionally equipped with a personnel basket for emergency evacuations. The shaft supplied by the BRUNNHUBER crane is at 100m deep and the deepest of the six shafts in the Citylink project.
