BRUNNHUBER special crane for the sea rescue training center in Bristol (UK)

BRUNNHUBER CRANES has built a custom 8.5t x 24.5m special crane for the sea rescue training center in Bristol (UK). This specialized indoor crane is used for demanding training exercises involving helicopter airframes positioned over a saltwater pool.

The new BRUNNHUBER crane is used to simulate emergency operations at the Bristow Search & Rescue Center—such as rescuing a person via helicopter in rough seas. To this end, the crane is equipped with specialized features:

  • ✔ Operation in humidity levels of up to 90%
  • ✔ Trolley with a slewing mechanism for 360° rotation
  • ✔ Maximum precision and reliability under extreme conditions
