In two new built production halls these cranes will be used for transport of beams, profile iron or metal sheets. All of the four cranes were equipped with radio remote control and weighing function allowing the control of incoming weights of steel parts and a correct subsequent loading on trucks for onward carriage.
After both crane runways with lengths of 66,5 m and 74 m had been mounted and manufactured by the crane specialists from Augsburg the assembly of the four pre-mounted cranes and of two conductor lines was made on site. Due to the confined space conditions in both production halls the use of a truck-mounted crane was not possible and the cranes were positioned on the crane runway by means of forklifts.
Then followed commissioning and acceptance by a certified crane expert from DEKRA. The crane operators were instructed on site because for all of the four cranes the stabilizer control for lifting speed and crane travelling speed had been converted to frequency converter control technology. For the next three years BRUNNHUBER CRANES GERMANY will remain the maintenance and service partner for the delivered cranes!
In spite of an unforeseeable delay in the completion of the production halls in Ismaning BRUNNHUBER CRANES GERMANY could finalize the project even 10 days before the scheduled deadline for project completion and impressed the customer with a record-breaking delivery time of just 3 weeks!
